On February 27–28, 2026, G City Promenada will transform into a true kingdom of chess! Two days filled with sporting excitement, intellectual challenges, and fantastic fun await you — all in an open, family-friendly atmosphere and… completely free of charge!

As part of the event “Masters of the Chessboard at G City Promenada,” we invite both experienced players and those just beginning their journey with the royal game. Expect dynamic tournaments with attractive prizes, an unforgettable competitive atmosphere, and meaningful time well spent.

📅 February 27 (Friday) – Open Blitz Chess Tournament
🕓 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Swiss system, 9 rounds
Time control: 3 minutes + 2 seconds per move
🧍 Open to everyone — regardless of age or skill level!

📅 February 28 (Saturday) – Chess Tournament for Children and Youth
🕚 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
5 age groups: Under 8, 10, 12, 14, and 18
Swiss system, 7 rounds
Time control: 15 minutes per player
🎖 Separate rankings for girls and boys
🏅 Every participant will receive a commemorative medal!

The prize pool includes gift cards and cash prizes, redeemable at shops in CH Promenada.

🏆 Open Tournament (27.02):
• 1st place – 1000 PLN
• 2nd place – 700 PLN
• 3rd place – 600 PLN
• 4th place – 500 PLN
• 5th place – 400 PLN
• 6th place – 300 PLN

Additional prizes for the best women players:
• 1st place – 300 PLN
• 2nd place – 200 PLN
